Bet-Alert is a new mobile technology solution in the sports betting industry providing you with valuable insight and analysis to help you to make informed betting decisions anytime, anywhere.
Is Bet-Alert affiliated with bookmakers or other betting industry service providers?
Bet-Alert is a totally independent information provider. We are unaffiliated with any bookmaker, ratings provider, tipster service or other betting industry service provider.
What does Bet-Alert do?
Bet-Alert offer a number of really useful services by SMS text message and using our Website - www.bet-alert.com. With the present range of Bet-Alert services you can keep track of form horses, source best odds, monitor market movementss and check race results.
Can I place a bet with Bet-Alert?
No. Bet-Alert is not a bookmaker and we do not support bet placement with any bookmaker. Bet-Alert does however provide you with bookmaker tele-betting numbers - so you will be able to get a bet on whenever you want.
Why use Bet-Alert?
Internet punters have access to a whole host of services over the Web that enable them to make informed betting decisions. As a result the margins that bookmakers gain from online betting customers are somewhat tighter than those enjoyed from offline customers. Using the Bet-Alert services you will have access to many of these services using your mobile phone.
Do I need to install any software onto my phone to use Bet-Alert?
No. All the Bet-Alert services are available by normal text message (SMS). Use 51444 for Irish numbers or 86122 for UK numbers.
What information does Bet-Alert make available to me?
Bet-Alert provides you with information to aid you in making better betting decisions. Using our services you can:
- receive an alert when a horse of interest is declared to run,
- check which bookmaker offers the best odds on any horse,
- check the market movements for or against any horses,
- check the results of races of interest.
In the near future you will be able to get rating analysis, top tipsters services and expert opinion.
Can I get access help using my mobile phone?
Yes. With Bet-Alert everything is accessible by mobile phone. To get access help using your mobile phone, just text:

What mobile phone networks are supported by Bet-Alert?
Bet-Alert services are supported by all Irish and UK networks.
Why are horse-alerts free?
All Horse-Alert texts that we send to you are free. This is because our bookmakers partners pay to advertise their odds and telephone betting numbers as part of horse-alert texts sent out. It's good for both parties:
- you need to know the odds of your fancied horse,
- they want to lay your bets.
A standard network charge will apply to all messages that you send to 51444/86122. These vary between networks but will not exceed €0.12/£0.10 (excl. VAT). If you wish to avoid these charges use this site to add horses to and drop horses from your stable of alerts.
How much do premium services cost?
You will be charged at the following rates for the premium service messages that Bet-Alert sends to you:
- Odds-Alerts cost €0.60 / £0.50,
- Movers-Alerts cost €0.60 / £0.50,
- Result-Alerts cost €0.30 / £0.25.
A standard network charge will apply to all messages that you send to 51444/86122. These vary between networks but will not exceed €0.12/£0.10 (excl. VAT).
How do I pay?
You can pay for premium services in two ways. They can be charged as Premium Rate SMS texts on your mobile phone bill or if you open an account with Bet-Alert, then you can pre-pay for your alerts. If you pre-pay for alert services you will save 50% of the cost of each premium text.
How can I cancel the Horse-Alert service?
To cancel the Horse-Alert service you have two options:

You can cancel an alert for a specific horse by texting:

to
86122 for UK mobile users,

or you can cancel all horse-alerts in your stable by texting:
drop all

to
51444 for Irish mobile users, or

to
86122 for UK mobile users.
Will I be "hooked" by the any of the Bet-Alert services?
No. Bet-Alert will never attempt to lock you into paying for premium rate services. We will only charge you for information that you have requested. We will NEVER:
- bill you for any service that you have not sought,
- automatically charge you on a recurring basis for any services.
Each time you receive a text from Bet-Alert, you will receive clear instructions on how to cancel that service.
